Under Construction

This blog is under construction,
as is its author who has been sewn
in two places within the span of
six months. There are no more
questions on the warranty clause.
Law offers no answer in interpretation.
Art ceases to be the blue print of plans--
Now, only relief in words.
These, too, will be hammered, patched and
quilted for bed or shroud; picnic basket
or altar mantle. See me assemble a shed, a home,
a leaf boat
made from fallen log. Welcome we,
who all are,
